Position Title: Water Truck Labourer
Employment Type: Full-Time Seasonal with Year-Round Opportunities Available in Snow Operations
Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Varying shifts including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
Position Summary
CSL Group Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Truck Labourer to support our Water Truck Driver on various commercial landscape and construction sites.
Our Water Truck Labourers are an important part of our operations, helping keep projects moving by supporting water delivery, equipment handling, site preparation, and safe work practices.
This is a fast-paced outdoor position where no two days are exactly the same. Due to the nature of our work and customer requirements, schedules will vary and may include evening shifts, overnight shifts, weekends, and extended hours. Candidates must be comfortable working a variety of shifts based on operational needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assist the Water Truck Driver with daily operations and site activities
Support water delivery operations, including hose connections and disconnections
Help load, unload, secure, and organize equipment and materials
Assist with monitoring water flow and ensuring proper equipment operation
Perform equipment and safety checks and report any concerns
Follow proper spill prevention and containment procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck, tools, and work areas
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
Complete basic paperwork, logs, and documentation as required
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
Support the team with general labour duties as needed
What You Bring
Valid Class G Driver’s License considered an asset
Previous labour, landscaping, construction, or outdoor work experience considered an asset
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Comfortable using hand tools and basic equipment
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Willingness and availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime as required
Work Conditions
Primarily outdoor work in changing weather conditions
Schedule varies based on operational needs and customer requirements
Work may include evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and extended hours
Physically demanding work including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
Seasonal work from spring through fall, with opportunities to transition into winter snow operations
