The Role:
We’re looking for a Summer Student to help keep a local sports complex and park in top shape. This is a hands-on, outdoors role where your work actually shows — fresh lines on a diamond, clean fields, and spaces people enjoy all summer long.

Start in May, work through to the end of summer.

Hours are part-time and will mostly fall on:

• Monday afternoons and evenings
• Weekend days and evenings

Schedules may shift depending on weather and field use, because grass doesn’t care about your calendar.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Game Day Ready Stuff:

• Prep baseball diamonds (groom infields, set bases, chalk lines)
• Fix or swap out bases during games if they’ve had a rough inning
• Set up soccer fields (benches, nets, making sure everything stays where it should)

Golf & Mini Putt Duties:

• Blow off mini putt area when needed
• Empty ball pits and keep things moving
• Drive the cart to collect range balls
• Wash golf balls and mini putt balls (yes, really)

Keeping the Park Looking Like It Should:

• Weed garden beds and water flowers
• Pick up litter and empty garbage bins
• Clear branches and leaves
• String trimming in assigned areas
• Keep the garage from turning into chaos (tools back, floors swept)
• Help site coordinators when needed (with a quick check-in first)

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who shows up — on time, ready to go
• Comfortable working outside in all the usual summer conditions
• Not afraid of getting a little dirty
• Able to work independently without needing a play-by-play
• Bonus if you know your way around basic landscaping tools (we’ll show you the rest)
