Human Resources Coordinator

Salary: $50,000–$60,000

This role combines hands-on HR administration with opportunities to contribute to larger HR initiatives such as onboarding, training, and succession planning.

What You Will Be Doing

HR Operations and Employee Support

  • Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and personnel changes

  • Support payroll, benefits, time off, and attendance inquiries

  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for employee questions

  • Support compliance with employment legislation and internal policies

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and background checks

  • Lead onboarding activities to ensure new hires feel supported from day one

  • Partner with managers to ensure smooth employee transitions

Training, Development and Succession Planning

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating training programs and employee development initiatives

  • Support performance management processes and documentation

  • Contribute to succession planning and workforce development projects

HR Systems and Projects

  • Maintain and utilize HR systems (HRIS, ATS, time tracking) for reporting and analysis

  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes through technology

  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects that support organizational growth

Who You Are

  • You have a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • You have 1 to 3 years of HR administrative or coordination experience, co-op and internships count

  • You are tech-savvy and comfortable working with HR systems and Microsoft Excel

  • You are organized, proactive, and enjoy getting things done

  • You handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • You are ready to continue growing your HR skills while staying hands-on with the work
